Avondale Park & St Anne’s Federations of Schools LED Project

Avondale Park School is a large primary school in the heart of a multi-ethnic community in North Kensington. Since 2014 the school has been federated with St Anne’s Federation of schools and you can find further detail by visiting the website at www.apsafederation.com .

Consulting with a variety of stakeholders, we were able to recommend and implement a  cost effective and energy saving LED lighting solution across all buildings and areas on the school’s premises. Luminaires with occupancy control and in-built corridor functionality provided adequate luminance and low glare lighting uniformity which must be considered when lighting educational environments and especially in multiple rooms across the school that are multifunctional.

Our selected LED lighting products, upgrades, and LED lighting solutions supported the delivery of the school low carbon goal. This LED lighting upgrade was a clear demonstration of how the school is taking their social, economic, and environmental responsibilities seriously.

Our approach to the project enabled Avondale Park School to benefit from the huge advantages of LED lighting and our energy efficient luminaires compared to traditional light sources. The end result was welcomed across the board whilst we demonstrated our ability to provide a cost effective, durable, and sustainable LED lighting upgrade to meet the demands of this and any educational environment.
